As a living Tradition, the Aurum Solis believe that it has two main duties:
- Maintaining its powerful and unbroken lineage
- Respect and Honor those who are dedicating their life to increase the understanding of the Western Tradition.

As the Western Tradition did in Alexandria at the end of the Egyptian civilization, it is always fundamental to work for the good of humanity. This beautiful building, made of virtue and knowledge, is symbolized by what was seen as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: The lighthouse of Alexandria.

The Ordo Aurum Solis is proud to award scholars, authors, or researchers for the quality of their work on the Western Tradition and the high moral standard of their life.

This nomination grants them the status of Honorary Members of the Ordo Aurum Solis.
